Click the Apps menu item on the settings menu and scroll down the list till you see the Malwarebytes entry. In Windows 10, click the Start button, then the gear icon to open the Settings window. Once you’ve done this, uninstall the old Malwarebytes program.

When I clicked “download and install”, it seemed to be working OK but it failed at the end, complaining that I hadn’t uninstalled the previous version.
